I started the blog Your Daily Art in 2005 when I had time on my hands and a big collection of art postcards. Right away, people liked the idea of being able to find out a small amount of information about a artist or a piece of art, that they could then learn more about through the links, or not. Being an art historian, I am never sure just how much "teaching" people want about art and I never want to turn them off, my goal is to peak the interest and then let them decide how much information is too much.

I am an art historian, teacher, social media/marketing manager with over 25 years of museum experience in curating, merchandising, and development. I live in Sun City, AZ and grew-up in a suburb of Flint, MI.

I also have a Mobile Notary service business YDA Notary.

In 2017 I started metalsmithing classes and the results can be found on Your Daily Art Jewelry - art you can wear.
