It was the 70's
Untitled
This is my project from my 8th grade art class - 1st hour.
I got a B+/A- and I believe the teacher was being generous.
Well, the bird is a bit off, but the clouds and sun, this is do e quite well for an 8th grader. And the composition balances well. So, I think it is a good grade actually.
Thanks for sharing this! I really enjoy getting my Daily Art and it was a delightful change of pace to see this. Don't be so hard on yourself! It was the 70s and 8th grade - that's double jeopardy if you ask me.

No, I'm not being too kind. The bird is off, but I have seen much worse from 8th graders, and the sky and clouds is really rather good.
I love your blog, by the way.
I like your 8th grade project. It's pretty and very much impressionist in nature.
That's very pretty. Nicer than some of the stuff you get in the Tate Modern for sure.
