The Hallucinogenic Toreador, 1969-70 by Salvador Dali, the Salvador Dali Museum, St. Petersburg, FL.
Dali conceived this work in an art supply store. It is rich with color and imagery. It features the famous ancient statue of Venus now housed in the Louvre.

Dali usually gives you more. Do you see the single facial portrait made up from the standing figures?
This is my favorite Dali painting. It hangs above my bed. I've spent years staring at this painting and it never ceases to amaze me. I saw it in person in the Dali museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. It's huge!!!
